large fossil fuel companies to be put on trial for high crimes against
humanity and nature, accusing them of actively spreading doubt about global

are set to consume a third of the corn produced in the United States, which
is the world's biggest exporter.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture
said last week that expected low harvests and ballooning demand from ethanol
producers will push corn prices to record highs this year. To date, the
United Nations puts ethanol's contribution to food price hikes at 10 percent
to 15 percent, while the International Food Policy Research Institute blames
25 percent to 33 percent of the rise in corn prices on biofuels.

Minneapolis City Council
limits vehicle idling to 3 minutes
The Minneapolis City Council and Mayor
R.T. Rybak approved changes Friday, to the city’s vehicle idling ordinance
that aims to reduce air pollution. The ordinance limits most vehicle idling
to three minutes, except in traffic.
"Most of the air pollution in
Minneapolis comes from vehicles and cutting down in idling is one easy thing
we can all do for our environment, our health, and the health of our
neighbors," said Mayor R.T. Rybak.
Vehicle motors release particulate
matter, dirt, nitrous oxides, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and carbon
dioxide into the air. These chemicals are linked to increased rates of
cancer, heart and lung disease and asthma and are the major source of
human-caused climate change. Children are especially vulnerable to vehicle
air pollution because their lungs are still developing, and they inhale more
pounds of pollution per pound of body weight than adults do.

Republican leader Mitch McConnell of
Kentucky called it "a
giant tax on virtually every aspect of the economy," and accused Democrats

Global warming is not science, it's a cult and a
religion. CO2 is not a pollutant, it's plant food. 95% of the greenhouse
gases on this planet are water vapor, so why pick on CO2 which only makes up
only 0.362% (0.028% from human activity) of greenhouse gas? That's easy;
carbon can be taxed, water vapor can't.
All recent climate readings are showing that that the
earth's temperature is well within normal fluctuation ranges. Every activity
man engages in produces carbon, form making electricity to breathing.
Global warming is a UN redistribution of wealth scam
and nothing more, and who do you think the wealth is going to be
redistributed from? That's right, you and I. If you think the cost of
electricity, natural gas and gasoline are high now, wait till we have to
start paying the UN in the form of carbon credits and taxes.
Global warming is nothing but socialism, no doubt
about it GREEN is the new RED. Make no mistake about this also, Clinton &
Obama have swallowed this crap like a ham sandwich, under either one of them
you can be certain to pay a heck of a lot more for all types of energy.
