At least 14 Republican members of
Congress have refused to endorse or publicly support Sen. John McCain for
president, and more than a dozen others declined to answer whether they back
the Arizona senator.
Many of the recalcitrant GOP members
declined to detail their reasons for withholding support, but Rep. John
Peterson (R-Pa.) expressed major concerns about McCain’s energy policies and
Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.) cited the Iraq war.

McCain's Big (Government)
Economic Idea
McCain's idea is an idea that
Democrats have been inching toward: a move to a Danish-style “flexicurity”
system. In that country, workers who lose their jobs have almost their
entire salary replaced by the government but are also required by the
government to aggressively look for new employment or accept retraining in a
new field.
It’s very expensive. For the United
States, completely copying the Danish model—lauded by many as a response to
globalization-inspired worker angst—could cost some $400 billion to $500
billion a year if it is as expensive for us as it is for the Danes.
McCain Blasts N.Carolina GOP On Obama -
Wright Ad.
If This Retard Thinks He Is Going To Win An Election
Playing Nice With Democrats, He's More Senile Than I Thought. This Is The
Kind Of Ad That Could Win The Election For Him. But What Does He Do?........
He Attacks The GOP Instead Of Obama. God Help Us.
Here's The Original Ad.
McCain Supports North
American Integration, League of Democracies
"Ours
can be the first completely democratic hemisphere, where trade is free
across all borders, where the rule of law and the power of free markets
advance the security and prosperity of all."
Republican
Presidential candidate John McCain has openly declared his supportive stance
on the Security and Prosperity Partnership in a March 2008 speech to the Los
Angeles World Affairs Council.
McCain Continues To Pander To Liberals By
Playing The "Class Envy" Card
"Job
No. 1 of the president is to use the bully pulpit to shine a light on
behavior that is less-than-exemplary,"
McCain added his voice to those expressing concern
about the vast compensation earned by the executives of those companies at a
time when their firms performed disastrously and most shareholders lost
millions of dollars.
McCain: "Obama Absolutely Qualified To Be
President" Then Why In The Hell Even Run John?
Is
Barack Obama qualified to serve as president? “Absolutely,’’ Sen. John
McCain said today – with a qualifier that he, of course, considers himself
more qualified. Yet, he was presented with this question on Fox News
Sunday today: “Putting aside your differences on issues, straight talk,
is Barack Obama qualified to be president?’’ host Chris Wallace asked. “If
the voters decide that, of America, absolutely,’’ McCain replied.
'Straight Talk Express' takes scenic route to truth
I might lie constantly too, if
I were seeking the Republican
presidential
nomination after enthusiastically promoting amnesty for illegal aliens,
Social Security credit for illegal aliens, criminal trials for terrorists,
stem-cell research on human embryos, crackpot global warming
legislation
and free speech-crushing campaign-finance laws.
I might lie too, if I had
opposed the Bush tax cuts, a marriage amendment to the Constitution,
waterboarding terrorists and drilling in Alaska.
And I might lie if I had called
the ads of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth "dishonest and dishonorable."

McCain's a 'hero' ? so what?
We can recognize and honor
McCain's indescribably grueling POW experiences without taking the leap of
arguing they automatically qualify him as an ideal commander in chief. His
qualifications should be evaluated on the merits, not on sentimental appeals
to his service.
